CORPORATE LEADERSHIP

Michael Koren has guided the Jacksonville Center for Clinical Research since its spin-off from a well-respected Jacksonville cardiology group in 1997. A graduate of Harvard Medical School, Dr. Koren has distinguished himself as a clinical cardiologist and investigator. His visionary leadership has resulted in the development of innovative initiatives to serve his patients, the clinical trial industry, and the wider Jacksonville medical community. Dr. Koren is currently the Vice-President of Ethics and Professional Conduct for the Academy of Phamaceuticals Physicians and Investigators (APPI). Dr. Koren is the President of the JCCR Board of Directors.

Susan Greco, a graduate of Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and Emory School of Public Health, is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. Dr. Greco, with ten years of experience as a clinical trialist, works to establish new relationships with sponsors and physicians interested in research, mentors new investigators, and reviews and develops new protocol opportunities.

Dawn Robison completed her Advanced Research Nurse Practitioner degree at the University of Florida. In 1997, after 20 years as an operating room nurse and manager for Baptist Hospitals, Ms. Robison joined the JCCR team as a sub-investigator. Her extensive knowledge of clinical research coupled with her outstanding management skill, has been key to the operational success of the Encore Research Group family of sites. She is a member of the JCCR Board of Directors.

Joy Viau, an alumni of the University of North Florida, has managed the financial functions of JCCR since 1997. She began as Accounts Manager and Executive Assistant for the Department of Research in 1995. Ms. Viau manages oversight of the JCCR administrative team (Accounting, Finance and Regulatory Departments). She is a member of the JCCR Board of Directors.
